600 flange fitters tested at TA2019 BP Gelsenkirchen

Dijkgraaf Support B.V. and Progresso Group B.V. completed 600 competence tests for flange fitters and field inspection during TAR 2019 OLE3/ARO3 at BP Gelsenkirchen.

The aim of the competence tests is to determine whether or not a flange fitter has the basic skills needed to fit flanges and in the event of non-conformities, knows the tolerances within which a flange can continue to be fitted or where supervision is required. It was once again quite clear that these tests are essential in preventing people with underdeveloped competence from carrying out critical work. Through these tests, we can help to ensure leak-free operations.
